Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a cabinet meeting at Amaravati on Thursday where all his ministerial colleagues handed over their resignation letters.
As per the speculation, Reddy will forward the letters to Governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan. The new Ministers representing all the districts and mainly from various communities will be sworn in on April 11 for which auspicious muhurtham has been fixed. Reddy after forming government in 2019 had announced that after two and half years he will reconstitute the cabinet by dropping 90 percent of Ministers.
According to reports, the dropped Ministers will be assigned party and organisational work keeping in view elections due in 2024. Government sources said the present structure of five Deputy Chief Ministers will continue even after the reshuffling.
